Moving to South Carolina 5 years ago from the Lake Norman area of North Carolina wasn’t shocking to my friends as they know of my love for warm weather and beaches. I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and lived there my entire life until now. It was a big decision, but I’ve never been happier and absolutely LOVE living here in Myrtle Beach. I have three adult daughters, one of whom just joined me in living here, and a handsome grandson who will be 8 in August. I also have a 10 year-old fur-baby, Sophie, who is a beautiful golden retriever husky mix that I just adore. Ivory, a small mixed breed joined our family last year as I failed as a foster lol. They love their morning walks on the beach with me and my husband, Bruce. I sold real estate in North Carolina for about 10 years and found it to be very rewarding in helping people find the homes of their dreams. First time home buyers are my favorite, but I have plenty of experience in luxury homes, new construction and single-family homes working with buyers and sellers. I am excited to continue my passion for helping people here in the Myrtle Beach area with their real estate needs. In my free time you can find me volunteering at All 4 Paws Animal Rescue in Pawleys Island. I have always loved animals and do my best to help them whenever I can. This includes feeding the feral kitties by the oceanfront and helping friends when they stumble onto strays and lost animals. I often joke that I have my own side-gig rescue going on. You may also see me at the gym as I do my best to get there a few times a week. My real guilty pleasure is reading-there is nothing better than curling up with a good book and glass of vino in the afternoon. My husband is a criminology professor, so my love of non-fiction real life stories usually gives us some good conversation to share. I recently left my role as a managing editor for him in a forensic psychology Journal at Taylor and Francis. I know that choosing a trusted professional in real estate to work with can be scary. After all, it is the largest purchase that most people will ever make in their lives. I can give you my commitment to being honest, hardworking, dedicated to your agenda and driven to results. I cannot think of one single client that didn’t turn into a true friend by the end of the transaction.
