I didn’t move to the coast for real estate. I moved here in 2010 because the water felt like home, and just like with everything else, I jumped in headfirst. Over time, that connection shaped how I see property, not as square footage or statistics, but as places influenced by light, access, tides, and how people actually live.
My path into real estate began on the courthouse steps, investing early and learning firsthand how timing, positioning, and restraint can change an outcome. That foundation still guides how I work today. I now focus primarily on representing home sellers throughout Horry County, South Carolina and Brunswick County, North Carolina, including North Myrtle Beach, SC; Little River, SC; Calabash, NC; Sunset Beach, NC; and Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Much of my work centers on waterfront, second-home, luxury, and boat-accessible properties, where nuance matters and details are not optional.
I’m known for being steady, clear, and intentional. I approach each listing with care, from pricing and presentation to marketing that allows buyers to recognize value without being pushed. I believe strong results come from thoughtful decisions made early, not constant reaction. When the process starts acting like it’s far more dramatic than it needs to be, I’m usually the one cracking a well-timed joke and dialing it back.
My experience with boating and waterway living - including time spent living aboard and years as a fisherman - gives me a practical understanding of how waterfront homes function beyond the listing details. Docks, access, tides, and orientation all shape buyer perception, and I factor those elements into how a property is positioned from the start.
At the end of the day, sellers don’t need noise. They need someone who sees the whole picture, communicates honestly, and knows when to act - and when not to. I bring the same focus I learned from long-distance casting, fishing, and life on the water: read the conditions, commit fully, and follow through. That’s what they come to me for, and occasionally, for a good chuckle. Whether that’s with me or at me is entirely up to you.
